Graduation
Students planning to complete degree requirements during the academic year must request graduation clearance by filing a “Graduation Clearance Application” form with the Registrar’s Office, Hepburn Hall, Room 214/219, by the respective deadline dates. Always check with the Registrar's Office to confirm dates.
Deadline Dates (Confirm with the Registrar.)
May 15 to June 15: if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the Summer I or II Sessions. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated August 15, and diplomas will be available October 15.
August 1 to September 30: if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the fall semester. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated January 31, and diplomas will be available by March 15.
November 1 to January 15: if the student expects to complete all requirements by the end of the spring semester. Transcripts and diplomas will be dated the date of Commencement, and diplomas will be available by approximately July 15.
The Dean of Students will forward a letter during April to each graduating senior regarding participation in the May Commencement.
Students who are denied graduation clearance in a Spring semester because of six (6) or fewer missing credits are eligible to participate in Commencement proceedings upon registering for adequate summer-session courses to complete their program requirements.
