M.B.A., Health Care Management Specialization
In a unique collaboration, the NJCU School of Business has partnered with the NJCU Health Sciences department to offer an MBA specialization in Healthcare Management. Healthcare professionals will be able to add business acumen to their skill set, while taking advantage of industry expertise from the professors in Health Sciences.
Admission Requirements:
- The completion of a Bachelor's degree.
- A required minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0
- Students whose undergraduate GPA is below 3.0 may be considered for admission and matriculation with the following conditions:
- Meet all minimum requirements of the Graduate Studies Office including: completed application; official transcripts; essay; and resume.
- Additional requirements for international students include: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test results, and Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE), or World Education Services (WES) evaluation of international transcripts.
- Up to nine graduate course credits in applicable content from other institutions may be accepted with approval of the School of Business.

Prerequisite Requirements:
The 36-credit course of study assumes an undergraduate degree in Business, which includes financial accounting at the intermediate level, and two semesters of statistics. Students with a degree in Business, but without these courses may be required to take:
BUSI 599 with the embedded Harvard Business School Online Credential of Readiness (CORe) in the first semester and attain a grade of B to continue in the MBA program.
