The Office of the Provost houses the Provost, who is the chief divisional administrator of the University's academic programs, policies, procedures and departments. The vision of the Division of Academic Affairs is to lead New Jersey City University in becoming a nationally recognized leader in urban, public, higher education.

The Office supervises the faculty and professional staff assigned to all academic departments within the William J.Maxwell College of Arts and Sciences, the Deborah Cannon Partridge Wolfe College of Education, the College of Professional Studies, the School of Business, the Continuing Education Office, the Congressman Frank J. Guarini Library, and all academic support departments:
