Business Information Systems, B.S.
The Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems program will prepare students with the skills needed to work in the information technology industry. The program is designed as a bridge between business and technology. Different from a pure computer science program or a traditional business program, this program equips student with both business knowledge and technical skills. Students will learn how to design a business-strategic plan aligning with technology and information system principals.
The Requirements for Admission to this Degree Program Are:
- A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5
- A minimum CGPA of 2.5 in all Business course
Incoming students may transfer up to 50% of the School of Business courses required in the major, pending department evaluation for transfer equivalency. Once matriculated at NJCU, transfer students must complete at least 30 credits at NJCU to satisfy the university’s residency requirement. Students must also maintain a GPA of 2.5 or better in courses taken in the School of Business. Students must earn a grade of C or higher in each School of Business course (ACCT, BUSI, ECON, FINC, MGMT, MKTG) used in fulfillment of a graduation requirement.

Upon completion of the B.S program in Business Information Systems, students will be able to:
