This program is designed for students who would like to take courses toward the Master of Arts in Urban Education with specialization in ESL. Candidates can choose to pursue the NJ ESL teacher certification as part of their program of study.

Upon completion of the Urban Education-ESL Specialization program, students will be able to:

Our candidates know, value, and engage in culturally responsive teaching to promote social justice, particularly in our urban areas.
