Associate in Arts, Associate in Science, and Associate in Fine Arts Degrees

Graduates of A.A., A.S., or A.F.A. degree programs at accredited two-year and four-year colleges in the State of New Jersey or out-of-state regionally accredited institutions who earned a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.0 on a scale of 4.0, can transfer a block of credits (up to a maximum of 60) to New Jersey City University. Those block of credits as previously described will satisfy the University’s General Education Program. Students entering New Jersey City University with A.A., A.S., or A.F.A. degrees from accredited two-year and four-year colleges in the State of New Jersey or out-of-state regionally accredited institutions are considered to be Juniors upon enrolling for classes.
